Incoming Material Control
Before material enters production, defined characteristics may be verified: identification, type, thickness, visual condition, surface quality, documentation and batch identification.
Quality
IBERIAHOLZ treats quality as part of the manufacturing process, not only as a final inspection of finished components. For each serial production program, requirements, inspection points, acceptance criteria and release procedures are defined.

Quality principle
Consistent results cannot be achieved through final inspection alone. Quality control therefore begins with technical requirements and incoming material, continues throughout production and ends only after the finished batch is released. The objective is consistent batch-to-batch performance and reduced risk of non-conformity for the customer.
Quality process
Before material enters production, defined characteristics may be verified: identification, type, thickness, visual condition, surface quality, documentation and batch identification.
Before serial production begins, the first manufactured component or agreed characteristics are verified against technical requirements.
Critical characteristics are checked during production at a frequency defined for each production program.
The finished batch is verified against agreed acceptance criteria before release to logistics.
Traceability may connect part number, drawing revision, material batch, production batch, inspection records, packing batch and shipment.
Before shipment, compliance is confirmed for product, quantity, inspection, labeling, packaging and accompanying documentation.
Critical characteristics & tolerances
Not every dimension requires the same level of control. Before a production program begins, critical characteristics are defined based on their impact on product function, assembly or further use. IBERIAHOLZ does not apply one universal tolerance to all products.
Non-conformity management
When a non-conformity is identified, the objective is not only to detect the defect, but also to prevent affected products from reaching the customer and to reduce the risk of recurrence. Structured corrective-action reporting can be provided where required.
Document control
Serial production must be carried out according to the current version of the applicable technical requirements. For each program, control may include drawing number, revision, specification, approved changes and effective date of changes.
Supplier & partner control
For critical elements of the production chain, controls may include supplier technical requirements, material qualification, production capability assessment, agreed quality criteria, incoming verification and performance monitoring. IBERIAHOLZ remains responsible to the customer for the final result.
Customer quality requirements
Quality processes are structured so that compliance can be supported not only by the finished component, but also by relevant production and inspection records. Where required, IBERIAHOLZ can provide agreed information regarding the production process, inspection points, traceability, acceptance criteria and non-conformity management.
